Moderated by Fabricio Rocha from the House of Representatives of Brazil, the panel boasts a lineup of global experts: Elhanan Schwartz from the Ministry of Justice of Israel, Bruno Rosas Fernández from the Cámara de Diputados of Mexico, Jonathan Ruckert from NovaWorks Australia, and Florian Madruga from the Senado Federal of Brazil. They will discuss the challenges and opportunities in achieving data interoperability and digital integration in parliamentary contexts.

The conversation will delve into several key questions, including the practicalities and complexities of utilising open data from various legislative houses, the discoverability of data APIs and sources for AI systems, the application of the OpenAPI standard beyond API documentation, strategies for enhancing interoperability among APIs, the actual usage and effectiveness of standards for interoperability, the role of AI in navigating standardisation challenges, experiences with interoperability standards, and the relevance of Semantic Web technologies in the current digital landscape.
