Conference Overview
Description
In 2024, the "LegisTech: The Commonwealth Community of Legislatures - 2nd Edition", focuses on the advancements and challenges in legislative modernisation and digital transformation. This session presents a unique opportunity for exploring how innovative technologies, particularly in the realms of Artificial Intelligence and accessibility, are shaping the future of parliamentary operations.
The Commonwealth community of Legislatures is a diverse group of institutions that at the same time hold many institutional similarities, enabling further opportunities for institutional cooperation.
The session, occurring virtually on January 25th and 26th, 2024, will be structured around Case Presentations and Thematic Panel Discussions. These sessions are designed to foster a rich exchange of ideas and experiences, encouraging participants to delve into the complexities and opportunities presented by technology in legislative environments.

It would cover strategies for protecting sensitive data, the importance of secure communication channels, and the challenges and solutions related to cybersecurity in a legislative environment.
Panel on AI-Powered Services Applications in Parliaments: This session will focus on specific service applications in parliamentary operations, with potential to embark artificial intelligence.
Panel on AI-Powered Legislative Drafting: A discussion on how AI is transforming the process of drafting legislation, making it more efficient and precise.
