About the Conference
Bússola Tech is a global organisation working in the promotion of the modernisation and digital transformation in the legislative power. Our goal is to connect the best experiences from National and Subnational legislatures experiences, the academia, CSOs and the private sector. Bússola Tech created the concept of LegisTech to organise and systematise the community strengthening.
Our democracies are ever-evolving and require constant innovation to continue to address the needs and demands of their citizens, and Parliaments around the world have been answering this call.
As part of Bússola Tech's goal, which is to bring to light cutting-edge experiences to help legislatures to be a more digital-ready democratic institution, in 2021, we will promote the second edition of the "LegisTech for Democracy" during the international week for democracy, between September 13th and September 15th.
The 2nd edition of the LegisTech for Democracy Conference will bring to light how Parliaments evolved their digital transformation strategies during the second year of Covid-19 pandemic and the impact for the post-covid era. Parliaments and subnational legislatures across the globe proved the concept that the legislative branch can reshape its internal process to ensure institutional continuity and to improve the effectiveness of its processes.
