  • Bússola Tech is deeply honoured to host a symposium with a series of sessions that brings together Secretaries-General and Clerks of Parliaments from diverse legislative institutions to explore their vision about Artificial Intelligence (AI) in parliamentary operations. The series serves as a fertile ground for discussions on how AI is revolutionising legislative processes, enhancing traditional methods, and shaping the future of parliamentary operations.

     

    The symposium will delve into the practical aspects of AI application in parliament, focusing on its role in streamlining legislative services, managing requests, and enhancing decision-making processes. It will address the challenges and opportunities in integrating AI within the unique cultural and procedural frameworks of different parliaments, ensuring the preservation of their rich heritage.

     

    A significant portion of the discussion will be dedicated to understanding the implications of AI on the inherently human element of Parliament. This includes strategies for engaging with staff and MPs in effectively utilising AI tools, contributing to their refinement, and maintaining legislative integrity.
