Bússola Tech is honoured to host a dedicated seminar on the modernization of Portuguese-Speaking Parliaments, bringing together senior institutional leaders and technical specialists to examine the evolving tools, practices, and governance models shaping the future of legislative institutions across the Lusophone world.

The seminar is organized around two high-level debates. The first, “Tools for the Modernization of Portuguese-Speaking Parliaments,” will explore the institutional, procedural, and technological instruments currently being deployed to strengthen legislative capacity, operational efficiency, and digital governance. Moderated by Mr. Luís Kimaid, Executive-Director of Bússola Tech, the session will bring together:

The second debate, “The Context of Artificial Intelligence in Portuguese-Speaking Parliaments,” will examine how Lusophone legislatures are preparing for the responsible, structured, and strategic adoption of Artificial Intelligence. Also moderated by Mr. Luís Kimaid, this session convenes leading figures shaping national AI agendas and parliamentary digital transformation:

This session will map the current state of AI experimentation, institutional readiness, data governance challenges, and the structural implications of integrating machine intelligence into parliamentary procedures. Participants will also identify opportunities for shared progress and cross-institutional cooperation across the Lusophone community.
